Ninety-eight United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) schools were closed in the West Bank from 3 to 9 April at the order of the Israeli occupation authorities, affecting 39,568 Palestinian refugee children (in addition to the 26,000 children in gov- ernment and private schools in the West Bank which have been closed for the same period).
